Willson Contreras

bWAR

bWAR is Baseball-Reference’s wins above replacement, not a 40 Man stat. The numbers come from their daily WAR file, which they allow anyone to reuse with a citation and a link. Pace stretches a short year up to 600 plate appearances, or to 180 innings for a starter and 65 for a reliever. A year that already reached that playing time keeps the bWAR he earned, so extra at-bats do not shrink it. It shows once a year reaches 100 plate appearances or 30 innings. File dated 2026-11-07.
